Walden Technical Services is now in it's fifth year of business. WTS is a local leader in Smarthome installations, Landscape Lighting installations, and Computer installations and Service. Our Technicians are certified in Leviton Home Systems, Bose Whole House Audio, NuTone Intercom Systems, Vista Landscape Lighting, as well as our standard Computer Certifications. We install systems in new construction homes, retrofit existing homes and upgrade older systems.

Walden Technical Services began as a home business by Michael Walden in 1999. Michael has been serving Chicagoland since 1990, when he graduated with two degree's. One in Electro-Mechanical Computer Engineering Technology and the other in Audio/Video and Communications Electronics Technology. While going to school he worked in a downtown Chicago hotel and gained valuable customer service skills. During the 90's he worked in the electronics and computer industries as a field technician, network technician, Internet help desk clerk, retail clerk, and teacher. He believes the computer industry as a whole is not friendly to novice customers and decided to start a company of his own.

While maintaining the highest level of Computer knowledge and certifications, Michael trained for and became licensed in Electric installations. He expanded his business to include Computer, Phone, Intercom, and Video cabling then eventually added Home Controller Installations, Wireless Computer Networks, Integrated Security, PBX Telephone Systems, Whole House Audio, and Video Monitoring. Last year Michael added Vista Landscape Lighting Installations to his services.
